Budget & Planning: At Your Service

Talented professionals working in vital roles make the Division of Budget and Planning an integral part of Mississippi State University. Our division provides essential operational services and support that see members of the B&P team administer the university's payroll; coordinate the purchase of equipment and supplies; provide budget and financial information and analysis; and perform a thousand other often behind-the-scenes tasks that enable MSU to focus on its mission of teaching, research, and service.

Budget & Planning helps meet the needs of more than 19,000 students, as well as MSU faculty and staff, who occupy the equivalent of a small city, with more than 300 major buildings encompassing more than 6 million square feet, 14 miles of streets and 20 miles of primary electrical lines, and more than 13,000 parking spaces, all spread over thousands of acres.

We are dedicated to helping the university operate efficiently and effectively in a setting that offers the best possible quality of life. We're here to help, and eager to serve. We welcome your questions, suggestions and comments.

Vice President for Budget & Planning
