Doing Business with MSU

Mississippi State University conducts a countless number of business transactions annually, and thousands of companies benefit from their relationship with the state’s largest institution of higher learning. The school’s Office of Procurement and Contracts, part of the Division of Budget & Planning, enhances existing connections and reaches out to new vendors and contractors interested in doing business with MSU through periodic information and training sessions.

According to Procurement Director Don Buffum, "Working with our vendors and potential business partners helps us achieve best practices, obtain quality goods and services, and advance MSU’s mission of teaching, research and service."

The sessions also complement other efficiency initiatives underway on campus.

If you or your business are interested in doing business with MSU, send your company name, contact person, e-mail address, mailing address, probable number of attendees and a business description (i.e, office supplies, IT consulting, road construction, etc.) to Judy Shaw at jshaw@procurement.msstate.edu or via fax at (662) 325-2135. You will then be contacted about upcoming How to Do Business with MSU sessions when they are scheduled.
